Lights, Camera, Action! Solon High School's production of The Little Mermaid earned six Dazzle Award nominations and made a splash with audiences of all ages. Lewis students showcased their talents at Fine Arts Night, Roxbury artists filled the halls with colorful creations, and Orchard and Solon Middle School students saw their work displayed at the city Arts Center.
Competing at the Highest Levels: Science Olympiad teams are headed to nationals. Twenty-seven students qualified for Future Problem Solving Internationals. HOSA is sending seven students to an international competition after a great showing at states. The chess team shined at the National High School Championship. Solon students also took honors in the Ohio Chinese Essay Contest and the Stop the Hate Essay Contest.
Something to Celebrate: Solon is a Best Community for Music Education — for the 13th year! A Solon senior won a surprise $40,000 Amazon scholarship. The Class of 2026 celebrated prom, After Prom brought Game Night to the high school, Parkside families enjoyed a sweet Spring Fest, and Regano preschoolers showed they are ready for spring!
